ActiveCampaign is a powerful marketing automation and CRM platform that helps you manage contacts, automate campaigns, and streamline your sales process. Integrating ActiveCampaign with Gutena Forms automatically syncs your form submissions as contacts, allowing you to trigger automations and manage leads efficiently.

This guide will walk you through connecting your ActiveCampaign account to Gutena Forms.

ActiveCampaign is a Pro feature of the Gutena Forms plugin. You need the Gutena Forms Pro plugin to use this integration.

1. Enable ActiveCampaign Integration

The ActiveCampaign integration can be set up in two ways — directly within your form, or via Global Settings.

Method 1: Configure Directly Within Your Form

  1. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Gutena Forms → Forms, then open the form you want to enable ActiveCampaign for.
  2. In the block editor, click on the main Form block to open the settings panel in the right sidebar.
  3. Scroll down to the Integrations tab and toggle on the ActiveCampaign integration.

Note: If ActiveCampaign is already configured via Global Settings, the details will be pre-filled. Changes made here will apply only to this form.

Method 2: Configure via Global Settings

  1. From your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Gutena Forms → Settings → Integrations.
  2. Toggle on the ActiveCampaign Integration.
  3. Click the settings icon and enter your API URL and API Key.
  4. Click Save Settings to complete the setup.

Note: If this is your first setup, these settings will apply to all forms by default.

Preview of Integrated ActiveCampaign

Once configured, every form submission will automatically create or update a contact in your selected ActiveCampaign list.

To verify, submit a test entry through your form. Check the Entries tab in Gutena Forms to confirm the submission was recorded, then log in to your ActiveCampaign account to confirm the contact was added to your list.

Users who submit this form in Gutena Forms are automatically added as contacts in your selected ActiveCampaign list.

That’s it! You have successfully integrated ActiveCampaign with Gutena Forms, and your subscribers will now be automatically added to your ActiveCampaign list on every form submission.
