Google reCAPTCHA helps protect your forms from spam and automated bot submissions. Gutena Forms supports both reCAPTCHA v2 (checkbox) and reCAPTCHA v3 (invisible score-based) to ensure only real users can submit your forms.

Supported reCAPTCHA Versions

Gutena Forms supports the following versions:

  • reCAPTCHA v2 (Checkbox):
Displays an “I’m not a robot” checkbox for user verification.
  • reCAPTCHA v3 (Invisible):
Works in the background by analyzing user behavior without requiring interaction.

Enable Google reCAPTCHA

Method 1: Configure Directly Within Your Form

  1. From your WordPress dashboard, go to Gutena Forms → Forms and open the form where you want to enable Google reCAPTCHA.
  2. In the block editor, click on the main Form block. The Form Settings panel will appear in the right sidebar.
  3. Scroll down to the Google reCAPTCHA section, toggle it on, and select your preferred reCAPTCHA type (v2 or v3).

Note: If reCAPTCHA has already been configured via Global Settings, those values will be pre-filled. Changes made here will apply only to this form and will not affect global settings.

Method 2: Configure via Global Settings

  1. From your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Gutena Forms → Settings → Spam Protection → Google reCAPTCHA.
  2. Toggle Google reCAPTCHA to On and select the desired version (v2 or v3).
  3. Enter your Site Key and Secret Key, then click Save Settings to connect.

Note: If you are setting up reCAPTCHA for the first time, these settings will apply to all forms by default.
