Reusing Gutena Forms on Multiple Pages

Estimated reading: 2 minutes 14 views

Managing the existing form across different pages can become difficult if you have to update each one individually. Gutena Forms provides a powerful way to create a single form that you can reuse anywhere on your site.

In this guide, you will learn how to use the existing form on multiple pages while keeping everything in sync.

When to Reuse an Existing Form

The site owner wants to display a “Project Inquiry” form at the bottom of every service page. Instead of recreating the form three times, they create it on a page/post. If they later decide to add a “Phone Number” field, they only need to edit the main form, and the embedded form on all three service pages is updated instantly. You can also view the demo for more

Steps to Reuse an Existing Form

1. Identify Your Form

Every form created automatically saves to your Forms section. You can view these by going to Gutena Forms > Forms in your WordPress dashboard.

2. Insert an Existing Form

To insert an existing form on any page or post,

  • On the page/post, click on the field editor, then type ‘/form’ and select the form block.
  • Select the “Existing Forms” option below.
  • Now, click the dropdown menu to select the form to display on the page.
  • If you want to edit the existing form, use the Edit Form option to open the main form and then make your changes.

Note: If you delete a main form, all pages using that form will display a notice that the form has been removed.

3. Sync Your Changes

Once you update the form, your changes automatically sync form updates across every page where the form is embedded—no need to update each page individually.

Tip:

The **Existing Forms** block is essentially a “view” of your main form. If you want to customize the look of a form differently on one specific page, we recommend creating a new form block on that page instead of reusing a central one.
