How to Create Forms with Gutena Forms

Building forms used to mean jumping between the dashboard and your page editor. With Gutena Forms, you can build your form exactly where it will appear, seeing your changes in real-time.

Steps to Create Your First Form

1. Insert the Gutena Forms Block

Go to the page or post where you want to add a form. Click the ‘+ Block Inserter’ icon and search for Form. Select the ‘Gutena Forms’  to add it to your page directly.

If Gutena Forms is already installed, type ‘/form’ in the block editor and select the Form block to proceed.

2. Choose a Form Layout

Once the block is added, you will see a variation of form layouts. Select a layout that fits your needs to automatically generate the necessary fields.

3. Customize Your Fields

You can change the fields Label, Placeholder, or toggle the Required setting from the sidebar on the right.

4. Configure Form Settings

Select the main Gutena Forms container block in the left sidebar. It shows the settings on the right-hand side of your screen, where you can rename the form, configure spam protection, add customizations, and more.

5. Publish Your Form

Once you are done, click Save at the top of the editor. Your form is now live and ready to collect responses.
